No Real Ale Pubs Just Creative Hubs (due for release September '26) is a new collection of songs about change, gentrification, memory and the people and communities left behind. Drawing on experiences of growing up in Wigan and time spent in 1980s Liverpool and Manchester, the EP explores post-industrial decline, regeneration and the uneasy space between optimism and loss. Blending folk and indie influences with lyric-driven, kitchen-sink storytelling, the songs reflect on class, identity, nightlife and the changing nature of community. From lost pubs, clubs and grassroots music venues to the rise of “creative hubs”, the record balances affection for the past with a recognition that nostalgia can distort it. Ultimately, it is a record about people and place: the spaces we lose, the communities that shape us, and the stories that remain.
